Having a
Financial
Plan
"Are you traveling on the right road? Or the wrong
road?"
If
you have been reaching your goals, then you are on the path to success
and happiness! If not, you might be one of the many who are sitting by
the side of the road with a flat tire. Don't despair, HomeBaseBuck$ is here to help you fix your flat!
And get you back on the "Road to Success!"
"If your future is not growing,
...then you are dying!"
You
need to have a direction in life! If you have no direction, then you
are just one of the many dying a slow death! Everyone needs
direction. I’m not talking about waking up in the morning and going to
work, coming home and sitting in front of the TV, "day in and day out!"
Watching somebody else become successful!
"That's called a
rut!"
You may not know it, but with no
plans for the future, ...your destine to travel... on a dead-end road!
Ask
yourself, "Am I in control of my life or does my job control my life?"
1)
You see..., if you cannot go on a vacation unless the boss says okay...
Then
your job
controls your life!
2)
If you can’t buy that new car you want...
Then
your job controls your
life!
3)
If you cannot afford to purchase a home..., again
your job controls
your life!
By
not making enough money to buy the things you want, your job dictates
what you can and cannot do in life! Take a moment and give this
some thought....
"Don't worry... this can all
be changed. If you give yourself half a chance!"

1st Plan: Creating
multiple income sources
This
should be one of the first goals to work toward! If you had no problem
with income you could call the shots! Go on vacation when you wanted.
Buy a new car today! An exotic sports car, perhaps!

Ready for a change in your life?
This is your
chance!
Change
could be something like starting your own business, a new career or
maybe even retirement. But, ...think it over before making that first
step! Don’t just dive in head first! Even as good as it may sound!
Whatever
it may be, always have a plan. From the most important change, down to
the littlest detail. You won’t be disappointed with having a plan!
When you have finally realized that all the right things are happening
in your life. Due... to all your hard work and planning. You will know
that it's been all worth while!
As the old adage goes,
"Look before you leap!"

Let
me give you an example. You might be planning on moving into a
beautiful home in a nice neighborhood. You have $10,000.00 you would
like to use toward remodeling your new home, but you might have to use
this money for the down payment?
Here's a sample plan:
Plan A: If my "no
down" loan is approved, I will use my $10,000.00 for remodeling.
Plan B: If my "no
down" loan is not approved, then I will use the $10,000.00 for a down
payment on my new loan. And I will do the remodeling later when I have
saved the money.
Plan
C: If the $10,000.00 down is not enough? I can use my IRA
funds "Tax FREE" to add to my down. Or borrow from my family and
friends?
Plan D: If none of
these options pans out, then I will save for a larger down payment, and
try to buy in the next 6 -12 months.

By having plans, you are
preparing yourself for what might happen! Because you already know the
out come of each plan! While being more flexible
with the final outcome, you are still able to reach your goal!
There are some
people who are not flexible enough, and therefore become
their own worst enemy. They end up not accomplishing the
goal they set out too! |

Speaking
about goals.
Everyone
should have them! The above example is just one. They're not hard to
come up with? Just think about the things you enjoy doing. Maybe
something you have been wanting to accomplish for the longest time, but
have not had the time to really focus on it!
Try
to start at the beginning of each year so you have a 12 month period to
work from. During each month review your new goals. Place a specific
completion time next to each goal.
Be
realistic, don’t make it feel that your "Under
the Gun" to reach them!
Don’t
worry about what other people think? As you go through life, you will
come to realize that most people don’t have any goals? I guess they
don’t think much of themselves? Or maybe they don't believe in
themselves enough to have them? It’s sad but true! There are
those who won't spend the time to improve their lives!
Some
may feel that you are wasting your time. Don’t let your friends,
relatives, co-workers, or anyone else for that matter discourage you!
Just because they aren't going anywhere in life, doesn't mean your
not! They feel that your goals are a waste of time! But don’t
listen to them! The only thing that should matter IS YOU!
Nobody knows you better than
yourself!

When
advice is given out, always take it with a grain of salt. You
see... when someone gives you advice, they are usually thinking
about themselves and not you! Unless they first ask you, "What is
it that your trying to achieve?" Or What are your
goals? Do they ask these questions? ...Usually not?
If
your spending time doing what you enjoy doing, some people might
consider this work. But, in your eyes it’s enjoyment! Nothing can be
considered work to a person who enjoys what it is their doing!
As
long as your not a "Work Alcoholic" it’s okay to keep the mind
occupied. But if you are a "Work Alcoholic," I would suggest seeking
some type of help.
People
see things differently, so they may misinterpret something that’s not?
For we are all "individuals" and have our own thought patterns. We each
express ourselves differently from the next guy. Expressing
ourselves hopefully in a honest and positive matter.

Goals
Now
is the time to start planning out your goals for this year! Even if
it's the middle of the year, do it now! Give yourself three major and
three minor goals to focus on. The three major goals could be something
like a paying off a credit card, buying a rental property, or maybe
buying a car? The minor goals would be something along the line
like: painting your home or learning how to type? Get the
picture?
Start right now. Don't waste
another minute of your life!

working on your plan TODAY!
